Lead Pastor
Nelson oversees all of our staff and operations for the church, and is in charge of preaching, teaching, and vision.

Staff Pastor
Gabe helps Nelson run day-to-day operations, leads our serving teams, and coordinates special event planning.
ting lee
Ministry Intern
Ting oversees the college ministry with campus outreach, as well as coordinates events for Roots Church. Ting is also undergoing theology training and pastoral equipping.
dani yu
Music Director
Dani oversees all worship-related events and serving areas at Roots. This includes training worship leaders, developing the worship team, coordinating the translation team, and helping with the Kids Program curriculum.
jocelyn wu
Kids Director & Graphics/Media Manager
Jocelyn is responsible for our Kids Program, preparing teaching materials for each classroom, and assisting Sunday school teachers and assistants in applying weekly lesson topics. She helps with design for Roots Church, including graphic and web design, as well as social media.
JULIA MIAu
Bookkeeper & Kids Program Assistant
Julia is our Bookkeeper and Kids Program Assistant. She records all of the giving and expenses at Roots church and submits quarterly reports to 3rd party accountants for verification. She also help our Kids Director with scheduling and event planning, among other tasks in the Kids Program.
